BAREBOAT SAILING

Level three for multi-day cruising adventures

Prerequisite: ASA 101, ASA 103 and a minimum of 80 on-water sailing hours.

This 3 day course prepares sailors to bareboat charter for multiple days, anywhere in the world. Students will live aboard, and skills covered include cruise planning, provisioning, anchoring, weather, navigation, emergency procedures, advanced sail trim, gallery operations, dinghy operation. This course entails a 3 day, 2 night cruise aboard our Bennett 46. Weather permitting, the locations may be Munising, Grand Island, Pictured Rocks, Grand Marais or the Huron Islands. Students will share provisioning cost, share in meal prep and clean-up duties. Students must bring own bedding/sleeping bag; we can provide if you are flying in.

NOTE: Course needs a minimum of 2 paid students to be confirmed. If we have to cancel a course due to not enough students, you will receive a full refund or the option to join another class.

$1095/person in shared cabin – 2 must book together; we do not pair people who don’t know each other.
$950/person for settee berth
$3900/private course for 1-5 people. The course will be closed to outside students.
